15kW +28kW (1kW for each range) + 30% (5% for each kW over 12kW; see note 1)
15kW + 28kW = 43kW... x 130% = 55.9kW

Does TN have an amended T220.55?

The TN State rules do not amend 220.55, As Smart$ noted, the standard method would be 55.9kw
The 130% comes from Note 1 reflecting the difference between your 18kw range and the 12 kw (6 X 5%)

An 18 kw range is 6kw larger than a 12Kw range so we must multiple the 6 kw * 5%

6 * 5% = 30% = .3

29 Ranges states 15kw + ikw for each Range

15 kw + 18 kw (# of Ranges) = 43

Here is where many people get confused and there are 2 ways to do this

43 kw * 30% (or .3) = 12.9 kw

43 kw + 12.9 kw = 55.9 kw

It is the same answer as multiplying 43kw * 1.3 and nort adding it back to the 43 kw since the 1 in the 1.3 represents the 43 kw already

43 kw * 1.3 = 55.9 kw
