Question: installing a 150 amp residential feeder according to the table it says #1 wire,problem is what about the terminal ampacity of 75 degree do I have to use 1/0 ref 110-14 C
110.14(C) is not a player in this conversation. Table 310.15(B)(6) gives a set of conductor types, all of which have insulation systems rated 75C or higher. But that does not come into play either. The table is not an ampacity table. It is not saying that the ampacity of a #1 copper in this "condition of installation" is 150 amps. It is simply saying that you can use a #1 for a service that is rated at 150 amps.
