Is "Portable Power Cable Type W" listed for wet locations? Note: 15 (2011 NEC ) Says: Cords that comply with the requirements for outdoor cords and are so listed shall be permitted to be designated as weather and water resistant with the suffix "W " after the code type designation. Cords with the "W" suffix are suitable for use in wet locations and are sunlight resistant.

Note: 15 seems to say, yes its suitable for wet locations, however in the use column for type "W" it only says Portable, extra hard usage.
whereas other types with the suffix "W" the use column list, damp and wet locations.

Hopefully the 2020 NEC (which I don't have access to) has cleared this up.

Your help is appreciated.

Agree with zbang in that I don't know of any manufacturer who has W cable not listed for wet locations.
Remember it is still a portable cord and not for use as a substitute for fixed wiring other than where specifically allowed by Code such as Art 553,555
