Does the Code address the method of sizing conductors on motors larger than those listed in Table 430.250 ?
 
I would assume motors of that size may be over 1000 V but I am not certain. If so then part XI of 430 would apply. I guess one would use the nameplate????
 
600HP 480v Nameplate 655 amps Asked about sizing conductors.
Electrician states its ACL start.. I have my doubts :)
