Tabs Highlighting in NEC for Florida Exam

Does anyone know if Tabs and Highlighting are permitted in reference books such as thee NEC while take the Florida Unlimited Electrical Exam. Pearson Vue, the exam administrator, has indicated in an e-mail to me that they are not accepted.
It seems to me when I took the exams for the Florida ER license as well as my other 2 state licenses, that highlighting and tabs where accepted.

I can't seem to find a specific answer on the Florida DBPR web site, nor the "Candidate Information Booklet.

Ask Pearson Vue for a copy of (or a link to) their instructions from the state, the ones they are using as the basis for telling you that it is not allowed.
