Taking Electrical Code Inspector Course. NEC regular or spiral bound?

I am taking an electrical code inspector course.

I noticed the NEC was offered as regular binding, spiral bound and loose leaf.

Which is the best version to get?

Will you be using this book to take the exam? IMO for an exam the spiral is the best option because it opens and lays flat when open. The regular binding can make keeping the book open on a page a hassle. Loose leaf type is just too bulky.

Don't forget to relax and breathe!
Also, I've found it useful to find the nearest store from which you can buy a libation of your choice to indulge in regardless of the outcome of the test.
