Taking test tommorow CT.

This is my first thread here and it seems as though most people have a good attitude toward this site so maybe someone can help me out. I need just a bit of last minute inspiration. Ive been asking people for a few weeks now what should i be studying for fire alarm circuits. I have the NFPA 72 book and have been browsing through it but still don't know what to emphasize on. Most people have said that the questions on the test are pretty basic. Are the questions based on NEC section 760 only or are there parts of NFPA in there i know you wont be able to give me specific information. But a general idea would help I know ill breeze through the other code questions this section im stuck on.

Thanks

Are you taking the state of Connecticticut "E" exam?

There are only a handful of fire alarm questions on the "E" exam...maybe one or two. It's not anything I would spend any amount of time studying or worrying about.

Now, if you're taking the "L" exam there could very well be numerous fire alarm question on it. I have not taken that so I couldn't help you there.

Im going for my E2 Journeyman test. I read from PSI that there will only be like 2 questions on fire alarm but the more i get correct the better off i am in my opinion. I feel like i have no weak areas i could brush up on last min and i cant think of questions ive seen or reviewed on this site that i haven't been able to find efficiently. Maybe its just the last minute jitters but was just wondering what i can expect.

I am taking my E2 test tommorow. And i feel like i need to keep studing tonight but im stuck in a spot where i dont know where i should really improve code wise. Fire alarm code has never been something ive found on any mike holt free practice exam or in either journeyman refresher books that i own one being " Journeymans Electricans Review" and the other being "electricans Exam Prep Guide". OSHA questions being the other area which a friend of mine let me borrow his book for the test tommorow and tonight just to review but also said the questions were pretty basic ladder safety, Burming, trenchwork and so on. Got any ideas on either book whats emphisized?

Your probably won't get this until after the test but Good Luck Today and welcome to the form.
There are some of the best people in the world on this form.
Most of us took our test years ago and there have been so many code changes.
