Tall ceilings

What's everyone using to get up to tall ceilings in new homes? Say around 18-22'.

Ditto scaffold. In my younger years (more daring ie stupid) an extension ladder against one wall stepladder on a landing plank between the two, or two extension ladders, plank between them.

extension ladders had rubber bumpers on the top ends

Pretty much the same things we use for tall ceilings in old homes... ladders and planks, scaffold, genie lift...
Really depends more on where and what we're doing.

I use a 16 foot stepladder. I have yet to run into a ceiling taller than 20 feet. Lucky me!

Hopefully the 14' A-Frame stays on the truck as much as possible. On remodels, can lights, and high ceiling fans, in finished homes that usually works better than scaffolds. High stairwell lights or can lights too close to the wall get scaffolding.
