Maybe? Isn't 406.12 pretty clear or is there an interpretive component?Yes. 210.52
Maybe

I thought it was pretty clear but the local AHJ may have different idea. So interpretive by him.Maybe? Isn't 406.12 pretty clear or is there an interpretive component?
Sometimes makes me want to put all the receptacles 5 1/2 feet above the floor.I have a couple temper resistant GFCIs that resist any thing being plugged in. One of these days a hammer will force a replacement.
406.12 Tamper-Resistant Receptacles
All 15- and 20-ampere, 125- and 250-volt nonlocking-type receptacles in the following locations shall be listed tamper-resistant receptacles:
- (1)
All dwelling units, boathouses, mobile homes and manufactured homes, including their attached and detached garages, accessory buildings, and common areas
Wouldn't that leave you with no receptacles that comply with 210.52?Sometimes makes me want to put all the receptacles 5 1/2 feet above the floor.
Agree.Leviton was horrible. Don't know if they've changed.
