Tandem breakers

I have an odor, Square D panel with the catalogue number:QOB24L125. It does not except the newer twin breakers. (QOT style) Is it allowable to use the older style twin breakers that don’t have the metal stopper on them.

How old is it? The CTL standard entered the code in the 1960's.

This is a 24ckt panel. It wasn't designed to be used with tandem breakers. It specifically tells you that in the product details.
