tandem breakers

I have a question about tandem breakers, specifically SQD Homeline and QO. Are they more prone to overheating and tripping, or any other problems when fully loaded than individual non tandem breakers?

My opinion is no! I have not found one particular brand any different than another and that includes during my infrared inspections since 1989.

I've never had a problem using them. I just don't like to use them, to me it just feels like I'm putting two wires on the same breaker. Even though I'm not, but still...
