Tanning bed and buckboost transformer

A30E4217-E04C-4093-A618-FFA3FC398F7A.jpegClient got a tanning bed from cousin, came out of a tanning salon I don’t know what their source voltage was.

Name plate says 230 volt.

His source voltage System is a 120/240 (residential )
From reading seems tanning beds don’t allow a tolerance on voltage range so I have to supply the 230 volts???

I thought originally I could just hock up . Was thinking it had a tolerance of 10%+\- like a motor ,I would have no problem with this.

He has a buckboost transformer in it but from looking I don’t think I can get it to actually 230 from 240.
Is it necessary to get to 230??

I was just through this with a 208 wye supply and a 240 3 phase tanning bed. Manufacturer said to use 2 boost transformers on 2 legs and to run the 3rd leg direct. That was last summer, trying to remember why. Damn thing was on it's own 90 amp circuit. I figure you could have used it to roast a pig
 
Now I remember why only 2 legs were boosted. The 3rd leg had 120v line to neutral loads. And you had to be careful not to have that leg boosted
 
I've hooked up several tanning beds and they all said the voltage had to be precise, some were 220V, some were 230V. Used a B&B on all of them.
 
The lamps are very expensive, so I think it has to do with longevity of the lamp life. The manufacturer probably does it so they can deny any kind of warranty.
 
Seen some of those pigs roasting in those.
