I am looking for a tap box to perform a line side tap connection in Southern California Edison territory. The product rating needs to be 800A, and the application is 120/208 Wye.

It is essential that the tap box has visible contact separation between the utility side and the consumer side. I have attached a photo of a similar tap box for reference, but I was unable to find any internal pictures or similar products online.

Could you please provide information on suitable products or direct me to a supplier who can assist with this requirement?

Tap boxes do not have contacts. The requirement for a visible break between contacts usually refers to a bladed disconnect.

If you're looking for a tap box like that, why not contact the company whose name is on the box?

This is the language from utility engineer: " The bladed Disconnect would only be not enough
The following is recommended:
The service conductors could be extended so that a pioneer tap box could be utilized to make the connection. A hole would be made in the panel 12' from the bottom of the panel then an LB or a ninety would be used to route to the tap box. The tap box would have to be installed so that the bottom of tap box is in line with top of the pull section. 2-hole compression lugs would be required to make the connection. Appropriate placards must be installed labeling the sections "SOLAR INTERCONNECTION TERMINATION SECTION" "SCE UTILITY TERMINATION SECTION".

Do you suggest some Tap boxes that i can present that has separate termination section. For some reason they prefer Pioneer CEP and i have tried to contact them through website So far no help.

I believe you could add bulkhead insulated Polaris blocks to the inside of a plain box to do this.
