tap rule clarification

we are installing a an emergency power system for 3 200a panel boards. at the generator end we are planning to utilize the ten ft tap rule to feed the panels with three automatic transfer switches. the question is do we need overcurrent protection for each panel from the emergency derived power.

If the generator has a single output protection of not more than 200A then no additional protection is required.

the generator will put out 600a. which sounds like i will need ocp of 200a for each panel
