Is it possible to tap and existing 50amp 240 volt circuit to install a 30amp circuit 240 v for a small oven and then tap one leg for 120v microwave circuit. I was trying to clearly understand 210.19 (3) exception #1. Thanks

Loads permitting, you can tap the 50 amp circuit as desired and feed an overcurrent protective device. 210.19(A)(3) refers to specific appliances
that can be tapped from a 50 amp branch circuit without additional overcurrent protection. I don't see the microwave fitting into the allowable appliances. From the info given, the oven is questionable.

You could always try to find a place to install a small panel, making the existing cable a feeder (if it's 4-wire), and feed each load from that.
