I have a chiller outdoors at a church. It is fed from a 175a 3 pole 480v breaker in the MDP. It goes underground outside to a 200a fused disconnect fed by 1/0 thhn copper. The chiller has a MCA of 120a and a MOCP of 125a. So the disconnect is fused at 125a. I think this is to small of wire for this breaker so i may change it. Now the real question. We are converting this from a air cooled to a water cooled. We removed 6 fans at 1.8a each. Compressors are 25.4a each. I want to connect 2 new water pumps to the existing circuit 1 at 11.9a and 1 at 1.9a and a 3000w water heater. What is the proper way to tap this circuit, tap the line side or the load side of the disconnect to what? 1 moter will have a disconnect/starter and the other a VFD and the 3000w water heater is 480v 3 phase also so it will probably need a disconnect? thanks, john
