2023 NEC 230.46 specifies tap devices be listed and marked for SUSE use. I called NSi and asked a sales person if they were labeled for that use and they said yes, but looking at photos form an online distributor I do not see that labeling. Has anyone seen that marking on an IPCS4002?

Let me google that for you. If you search on the model number, you get this page:

Which says "ANSI, UL Listed, Meets NEC 230.46 Suitable for Line Side of Service" And under "Resources" has a link to this product sheet:

Which tells you which products in the IPSC category are so listed, and which are not.

Cheers, Wayne
Thanks Wayne, bu maybe I was not clear, I did look at that datasheet that you googled before I posted. The question is related to marking, not listing. 230.46 requires it to be marked as suitable for use on line side. I guess I will just order them and deal with any inspection issue if they are not marked later.

There have been some threads on this. NSI has obviously been paying some attention so I would hope they've got the markings on new product, although you could end up with older stock since I think it has only been a year or so since they got the updated listing. My understanding is that the product itself did not have to change to pass the tests. (And yes, that is to say the new rule was unnecessary, but that's beside the point.)
