Hi ,
i have an exformer about 50 feet away.
And the plan check wants me install disc. sw., ocpd on secondary
(but i do not know where)
unless provide calc showing compliance with 25ft rule....

Can you explain me more about 240-21, tab rule????

Really need more details. The disconnect/ocpd on the secondary may be doing three things: protecting the transformer, protecting the secondary conductors, and protecting the panelboard (if used). Read the 25' tap rule and let us know what you need help with.
