When tray cable enters a class 1 division 2 location and converts to ridgid conduit without a fitting, which enters a (terminal box, Motor, control box) is a conduit seal required?

A seal is not required unless the terminal box, motor or control box is XP rated. A cable gland and a low point drain - in outdoor locations - is required where the cable enters the wireway. If the conduit is NOT used as a wireway but as a support means for the TC cable, eg. the opposite end from the tray is not connected to the served equipment then a pop-on bushing on both ends of the conduit and a cable gland termination of the cable to the served equipment will be appropriate. No low-point drain would be required in the later.

At the boundary itself, probably not. This would be an application of Subsection 501.15(B)(2), Exception No. 2.

At the enclosure itself, it would depend on the nature of the enclosure's contents. See Subsection 501.15(B)(1)
