I have a bifold airplane hanger door that is is prewired for testing with tray cable. I talked with there engineering department about a seperate issue and he said the TC cable should be run in a conduit going down the door. Is this correct. I looked it up and from what i can tell if I run it along the structural support of the door it would be legal. I need to leave slack where the door hinges. Would this make it a code violation as it does not follow surface of building?
