Sounds like a good price for a TDR. They are cool to work with. I used to be employeed by a company that did a lot of recovery and location of buried faults in phone company cables. The TDR was good for finding spots where water was leaking into the cable sheath and causing crosstalk on the lines. I learned a bunch from that experience, but mostly I learned about shoveling dirt.:roll: It acutally paid off later when I started doing fiber optic work and we purchased an optical time domain reflectometer. edit to add: I hope it did not get lifted off the back of somebody's truck.......
