Looking for a recommendation for a basic TDR. My typical use is circuit length measurement, not underground fault location. I would like it to also have a toner built in if possible.

I had been using a Psiber 50 and a megger 500.

What do you like to use that is $500 or less?

I can't give you any recommendations since I don't have one. But I know you get what you pay for. Putting a $500 limit on a specialty meter like a TDR tells me your going to get something you'll probably end up hating....

A decent one I've had my eye on but can't justify yet is the Megger CFL510F. It's about 3x your price limit.

I only need +/- of 5% The longest circuit I would probably use it on would be 200-300 ft
