As far as I know the Teck connecting the transformer to the distribution centre need to be bonded. On the transformer side the teck cable is bonded through the connector which makes firm contact with the aluminum armour and the transformer however on the distribution centre side it comes out of a 4" PVC. Can i unwrap the aluminum armour on the distribution centre side , straiten it and bolt it to the ground bar on the distribution center or do I need to attach a connector with ground bushing?

What is TECK?

Teck is a special metal clad cable assembly originally designed to meet Ontario Hydro standards. From the outside it looks like normal jacketed MC. On the inside there is an additional jacket between the conductors and the metal for additional watertightness.

There are special Teck termination fittings (i.e. spin-on style) available from manufacturers like Thomas & Betts.

Wouldnt it make since to install a connector at the Distribution Centre on the cable, install a grounding bushing to the connector and bond the bushing to the ground buss or frame of the Distribution center. This way the cable jacket is grounded and the conductors are protected also from any sharp edges.
