Hi all,

We have an upcoming installation where we need to run a tee and waterfall down from a high-mounted tray to some additional equipment. The existing tray has cables in it, although there is capacity for the additional equipment.

Will it be necessary to cut a tee into the tray or is there an easier way to do this? I've been looking through tray catalogs and installation manuals and don't see any other way other than allowing the cable to go "free air" between the trays.

Thanks.

I would just run the new tray below the existing tray, and drop out of the existing tray between the rungs into the new tray. You will need a bonding jumper between the two independent trays.
