Why doesn't NFPA 70E include a training requirement for telecommiunications workers ? They are exposed to voltages >50 VDC, and up to 90? VDC on ring voltages.
Why doesn't NFPA 70E include a training requirement for telecommiunications workers ? They are exposed to voltages >50 VDC, and up to 90? VDC on ring voltages.
I had a 70E instructor state that a lot of the POE (power over ethernet) will have around 51v or more these days which will cause some problems for these communications folks who are used to working at below 50v.
