Telephone/Data work....

Ok. We dont usually do much tele/data work. I dont know a whole lot about it. I know basics of Cat5E for computers. A customer of ours that we do alot, and i mean a lot of work for has telephone and PA system issues. Some dead lines, pa speakers not working. Need some beggining kinda basic books to teach myself some on this stuff. They didnt cover in the apprenticeship years ago, and i have never worked much on tele/data. Any good literature???

I don't know about lit. but if you Google tel/data there is a bunch of stuff on line. Most is aimed at the DIY croud but it will give ya sonme good basics on how the stuff works and how to install it.Good luck.
