Some temp stringers have a factory plug. I have always cut the cord cap off and spliced to branch gthat is feeding just temp light. I have separate branch circuits for recepticals.
In a damp area or crawl space I have plugged the temps into a gfci but the gfci was strictly for lighting
My question is if the branch circuit is dedicated exclusively for temp lights can a duplex be installed and just plug in the factory provided cord cap on the stringers?
