This is a shot of a temp pole. The installer needed the meter on the bottom so the solution was quite simple

Yeah, amazing. Did you notice the seu with the bare aluminum in the ground?
I did, was kind of wondering what they thought they would connect that short tail to, let alone it is SE cable with bare aluminum grounded conductor.

Upside down? put it in a dry location and there is no problem - unless there is vertical operating circuit breakers in it.

If one turned it over, the channel for service conductors is unused anyway if service conductors enter via the top hub. Some of those type of enclosures even have a load side conductor channel to a hub on the other side through the meter section, they don't always get used but are one option of how to use the thing. My luck seems to be that channel is always on the wrong side for my application.

It's just like all those other threads. The OP doesn't know how to post the picture without it being upside-down. Flip your head and it looks fine. :dunce:

Is that a Milbank? I'd love to source some metermains with service conductor wiring on the right versus the typical metermain with the service conductors/meter on the left. This is for retrofitting older metermains with the same right hand service conductor setup.

Does it have a 200 amp main?
