We have a 15,000sq/ft building with a large job trailer(100A). We have a 225A 120/208V panel on a temporary skid. The only contract obligation is temp power boxes, temp lights and the trailer. The plan calls for: (10) power boxes and about (25) 100w lights. It will be a change order to add more power, so no cost to us. But I’d like to find the formula or way to determine temp power needs for future projects.

I think you need to get the guy paying the bills to tell you what he wants to power up. It should be fairly straightforward to figure things out from that pint. I don't see any way to accurately estimate power usage from "give me a price for some temp power".

Is your 225 amp panel going to be your service disconnect or is it to be supplied by a feeder ?
