Hi I was asking where in the NEC does it address temp power boxes is there a standard for the set up. What I have is a temp box inside a wooden box with tar paper for covers to the electrical outlets and it is near standing water. Any help would be great.

Rubber boots might help.
Tar paper is not approved for that application.

Give "527 Temporary Installations" a good read.

Re: temp power

I build my t-poles with a scrap of rubber roofing nailed over the receptacles. The contractors tend to rip the bubble cover lids off first thing. At least the flap of (non UL approved) rubber doesn't annoy them and still provides protection.
