Temp Power

I am going to need to install some temp power for a new house with an over head service. Do the generals usually put up the post or do you guys do it? If you do it how tall does the post have to be?

Each poco has their own rules-- I would check with them before I did anything. Generally I install the pole and service but many of my builders have done it or helped me with the process esp. since one of our poco's wants a 16 foot pole that is 4x4 or 4x6. Quite an undertaking for a temp.
