Temperature Triggered Electrical Switch

I am wrapping up the install of a data closet for a customer and they asked if I could install a vent fan for venting heat out if the temp reached a certain temperature in the closet. Has anyone used a temp control switch for a vent fan?

Depending on the temp setting desired you might just be able to use an attic vent exhaust fan with thermostat included

We use standard line voltage cooling thermostats.
Not necessarily this model but similar. Cooling Thermostat

I used that type of stat on my whole house fan so we can turn it on on a warm spring or fall evening and have the fan shut off before the house gets too cold.

Depending on how big the closet is and how much equipment is in there, that fan might need to be on all the time.

Or even a small mini split.
