Bidding a job with smokes and co.s, specs call for an addressable panel.
if addressable co's are not available. provide monitore modules for the non adressable devices. the specs call for temporal 3 for fire and temporal 4 for co's.using the same indicating device . This is a new one for me . is this a typo or has any body run into this ?

As shown in the link above, where fire temporal sounding pattern is 3 tones followed by a pause, then repeated, Temporal 4 is simply 4 tones followed by a pause and repeated.

Most newer devices follow this sounding pattern. But check the spec's to be sure...

Some CO detectors with built in sounders are temporal 4, but I have not seen a horn yet that does temporal 4. Wheelock sells a Muiltitone Horn (AMT series) with 3 inputs that would allow it to make 3 different sounds depending on how it was activated, but I don't think temporal 4 is an option.
