I am trying to determine if I can use a SER cable that has 4 insulated conductors to feed a 200 amp, 3 phase, 4 wire, to temporary office trailers. I can install a fused disconnect at the front end, route the SER over the roof of the building, and use a messenger to support the SER for the last 40 feet to the temporary pole that will support the SER. This will feed the distribution at the temporary office trailer. Is this legal?

We use SER for that, we have even run it on a messenger.
