Temporary Stringers

Can anyone give an approximate price and labor for stringers. Soemone once told me to take the square foot and divide that by 7,000 and that is the amount of stringers and to use $250 and 4 hours per stringer.

Ok someone at my job gave a me this today

take the square foot and divide that by 5000. That will give you the number of stringer and each stringer is $450.00 and 12 hours. Somehow(like many instances) I think this is a bit off but this is probably coming from a non-field perspective.
