Anyone have a good recommendation for a power block (*3) installed in a 12" x 12" wireway that can take (9) 4/0's from one direction and go out the other with (4) 300kcmil?

Unless I'm missing something, why not use this or another like it Polaris ?

Do you think you might need to do another calcuation on your box volume with the use of this type of equipment?

Don't forget 376.56(B)(4)

No exposed live parts in the wireway, so make sure the block you choose is insulated or can be guarded.

Ilsco has a lot of options, although the amperage you're running through it might be a killer. They have a catalog online with all their different options, I'm sure they could custom make one if you could stand the wait.

We use Polaris ins. taps quite often in gutters for the exposed live parts issue, but that would be one monstrous insulated tap.
