99% of VFDs are rated for use in 40?C, with a maximum of 50?C, so it's possible that some don't bother using terminals rated for over 60?C. Allen Bradley Powerflex drives happen to have 90?C rated terminals, but I would not assume that as a standard by which the the industry adheres.
A quick survey of manuals I happen to have:
AB = 90?C
ABB = 75?C
Teco = 60?C
Hitachi = 60?C
Toshiba = 75?C
Yaskawa = 75?C
So they appear to be all over the map, but it looks like the cheaper versions use cheaper components. Go figure.
