Several years back I did a single phase 800 amp service in a big custom in davis island , Tampa feed through CT`S,I mounted them in CT enclosure and installed the Ct meter.POCO came and wired the meter then sent a lineman to do final hook up.From what I was told the lineman didn`t check the underground feeds and left the jack on the trans engaged.Well he touched the connection and it must of flashed some ( this is second hand ).Then he undid the trans. and did his hook up,when done he engaged the jack and the CT enclosure exploded
Never heard another thing about this incident and never want anything like that to happen again
