I'm an electrican in NJ,and came across a potential customers home that needed work. House was built in 1941,single family ranch about 3800sf.Home owner wants service upgrade recessed lighting additional recept's etc....
Here's the problem,the house exterior and interior walls are terra cotta block. house was originally wired in AC cable no grnd. Was wondering if NM would be acceptable. Leary of asking town inspector because not the typical install and dont want a no because of lack of knowledge. Trying to hold down potential cost to customer. Any insight form somebody?
