Hey guys, I was curious as to how the rebuilding stage of this disaster typically plays out. I understand that a multitude of out of state and in state contractors move in to the area to help with the rebuilding process. As these contractors from out of state move in how do they get around the licensing requirements that would normally be in place for out of state contractors.

The reason I ask is because I would like to send a crew down to Texas to potentially rebuild some electrical installations for whatever the need be. I do not hold a Texas electrical license and I just don't have any experience working in these situations. I was curious if any of you guys knew of the process or people that I need to contact to make this happen?!?!?! Thanks in advance!

I can't say what Texas will accept. But I went to Ms and LA when Katrina hit. They didn't care that my/our license was not good there. They were just glad to get help.

Maybe someone here is from Texas and can chime in.
