Asking for a friend,
How does one apply for a Journeyman license in Texas when coming from a non non-reciprocal state (CO)?
It appears there are only two options for Texas:
Have at least 8,000 hours of on-the-job training under the supervision of a master electrician (licensed in Texas as per the statement on the verification form) and
pass a journeyman exam
as per section 1305.155
or
meet section 1305.164. "NONRESIDENT LICENSE APPLICANT. The executive director may issue a license under this chapter to an applicant who holds a license in another state and who submits a proper application and pays the required fees if the executive director determines that the applicant is licensed in a state with which there is an agreement to recognize licenses issued under this chapter."
