Can someone explain the application difference between TFFN and dual rated MTW/TFFN wire? Sometimes the slight OD difference means alot in a tight control cabinet. I know that TFFN has an ampacity rating of 8 amps vs. 10 amp for MTW.

Interesting....a quick look at NFPA 79 Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery 12.3.1 does not even list type TFFN. Is it permitted in industrial machine control panels?
