You gave advice of a presentation tool available and I used it yesterday. I still need some tweeking with it, but I really like it alot. The GYRO remote is very easy to set up and fun to use. It gave me freedom to move around the room and still have control of my laptop.
Thanks
Pierre

Re: Thanks to Tom Baker

I would not sell my Gyro mouse for twice what I paid for it. It is a dream with power point and a life saver when working with a document file such as the NEC.

I make a motion that they come as standard equipment with all lap tops, do I hear a second? All in favor- passed!!!!

These gyration tools are sweet. I picked up the mouse/ keyboard combo.
You don't even have to point it at the reciever!!!
Thanks for this great tool!!

Re: Thanks to Tom Baker

Thanks for the kind words. I misplaced my remote and I was lost!

I just did class today for a group of electricans who work on ww lift stations. Before the class they sent me a picture of typical lift station control panel.
I program the buttons as follows.
1 -arrow I use this for illustrating on graphics and if you push the bottom button it drops an arrow, as many as you want
2- a BMP of a code violation. Use it to make a point
3- a bmp or the proposal for the 2008 NEC. Use it when someone complains about a code rule
4- the WW lift station control panel. I use if for letting the students see the application to their work.

I change picture 4 depending on the group.

I also program Cntl-B to pop up a 10 minute count down timer for breaks.

There are a lot of other features that I haven't tried.
Having the special pictures that you prepare before hand makes a powerful presentation.

I use a very impressive graphics programs for special transistions, TV style, its from a company called crystal graphics, take a look at their transistions.
