The 2008 NEC Gets Shorter

The 2008 NEC will be shorter as Artilcle 780 will be deleted. I won't tell you what it is, you'll have to look it up. it was introduced into the NEC by a manufacture with a specific product. The manufacture went bankrupt.

This product is mentioned in Article 334. I wonder if they will remove the mention?

Has anyone ever used this Article?

And as it looks like there are at least 2 new articles in the 08 NEC, I expect before long we will have 2 volumes to the NEC
 
The new Article 585 - Critical Power Systems will be huge and offset the gains made by 780's deletion. I don't feel there is a place in the NEC for 585.
