I wonder why?

My quote was too high to hook up the newly added sign and they had the Sign Contractor do it as his quote for connections was much less than mine.

This is behind the sign on the rooftop on the wall and exposed to the elements.

I smell a change order coming to fix it.......

Sadly just another example

Sadly just another example

It's just amazing to me how installs like this don't just blow up in the guys face that did it & how little concern for anyone else they exhibit. That picture should be sent to the newspaper and anyone interested, citing how bad unqualified electrical installations are. Didn't one recent electrical magazine have a story on a plumber who leaned over a parapet wall and got electrocuted? I was up on a roof the other day and thought about that when I leaned over one.

I guess you were there to take the picture. To me, those look like exit wounds in the stucco, not patches. I can see why your price was "too high!" :D Unbelievable!

That's what they are with some drywall mud like substance to fill the blowouts....they are putting it on in layers and waiting to wet sand it tomorrow. Can't you tell by the care they took to bundle the wires with electrical tape......that's some everyday hack's attempt at neatness I assume...

Just add a little Scotchkote to the wire nuts and they are watertight connections.. :D

I think we will need a little more than Scotchkote to fix this install:roll:

No need for Scotchcote. Just turn the yellow wire nut up so it won't fill with water.
