We used a product called The Shark that was a riser support/"snow cutter" that worked awesome and was east to install. They seem to have gone non existent since last year. What products do you use besides a roof cricket to direct snow around a service riser on a roof?

Not familiar with your "Shark product" or a "roof cricket". What we use here is a standard 2" aluminum or galvanized roof jack. Slide the upper edge of the jack under the top row of shingles, apply caulk where necessary. Be sure to install the rubber boot before your weather head. As for Snow, when it happens no additional measures are necessary.
