I might buy a smaller version for my own use, except that the neighbors would complain about the exhaust gases.
 
the next step to selling this thing to the new green community is putting some sort of gas cooling and filtering assembly that then allows the particulate to be boxes of ash that can be sent to the dump afterall, but a fraction of the size.

And no pollutants in the air this way.

LOL, drive around one of the country's "green" communities like Marin County California between October and April and count all the wood fireplaces spewing smoke and ash into the precious atmosphere. You are right though, the selling angle here for this particular device would be "eco freindly" .
 
We helped with the installation of two sawdust/woodchip fueled dryers for Alfalfa a couple years ago. Each burns a max of 2500 lbs/hr @ 10% moisture with essentially no pollution. You can't even smell them. At least I can't. "20 MM Btu/hr". Sawdust was a waste product just a few years but is now a commodity.
