yes, if you look at the face of any rec one side is larger. intended for the grounded conductor. lamp cords are similarly configured so that the screw shell is on the grounded conductor as well.Originally posted by electricmanscott:

Only if he is in another country, and probably connecting to 240 Volts @ 50 Htz.The Step 2 picture seems to have the fixture's black wire lined up with the building's red wire, and the fixture's white wire lined up with the building's black wire. So the wiring will be correct, and the DIY will know what to do, right?![]()
