My supplier says Siemens or Eaton breakers are compatible with Thomas and Betts panels. I’ve viewed a thread post on this website but didn’t see a conclusive answer ? Are they UL listed for replacement? Thank you !

To answer this, you need to look at the panel label for acceptable breaker types, not specifically brands.

Many older panels did list multiple types spanning multiple manufacturers, including MP and BR variations.

The only breakers you can legally use in a panel are those the panel maker lists on the cover, or what are called “classified” breakers which will be listed in SPECIFIC competitive panels documented by the BREAKER mfr. Siemens only sells classified breakers for Sq.D QO panels. Eaton makes classified breakers for many different brands, including T&B, but again, you need to get the part number of the panel and check it on the list with the Eaton breakers.

I may be out of luck, I don't recognize these letters... View attachment 2558759
You need to look at the model number of the load center then look at the load center model numbers the Eaton breakers are classified for.

That being said....
I would have no reservation installing standard Eaton BR breakers in this loadcenter. The T&B loadcenters were a product of the Challenger/Westinghouse transition to Eaton. The are the same breaker. T&B though they could make $$$ offering loadcenters and breakers for the residential market but soon realized it was impossible to compete with the other players so abandon the line. I was an EC during this history of buy outs/mergers but an inspector could question the compatibility.

Thanks. On the Eaton website, they published a "UL Classified Circuit Breaker Replacement Chart" But I can't read it, the print is so small and not clear enough when I download and enlarge. I think this chart might have what I'm looking for...specific letters on models of breakers/panels but I'm not sure. My eyes are getting bad but, do you know of any better chart ? 1640222185814.png

I have that chart in a hard copy. It lists T&B "TB" 15A-50A breakers. It also lists GFCI 15A-30A single pole. The panel cover that you posted listed "TB" so the Eaton Classifieds will work and be legal for your panel.

The local Ace hardware is the only place I have ever seen a Eaton CL breaker, the retail price was a buck more then the BR, about $17.

I hesitate to use wholesale/ retail thing as pricing at the supply house depends a lot on who you are.
