Customer with a bunch of lamp sockets for the R1IC cans that need replaced. Does someone have a source. Google has failed me so far. Socket is a TRIBORO 14573.
What kind of trouble have you gotten yourself into?Customer with a bunch of lamp sockets for the R1IC cans that need replaced. Does someone have a source. Google has failed me so far. Socket is a TRIBORO 14573.
It is a small bar restaurant across from my shop. Previous owner(s) over lamped the cans thru the past 34 years and things are finally going to hell in the form of fire. All ran in conduit and inspected back when. No green wire. Cans are IC rated but with no thermals. Obvious spark arcs but breaker never tripped. My help tells me the Blown in cellulose was scorched around several cans. What kind of trouble have you gotten yourself into?
... The bar has struggled through several owners to stay open since they closed down the local Catholic Church.
Sounds like a gut out and replace the cans is in order. Probably isn't any money in the budget for that I bet.It is a small bar restaurant across from my shop. Well, at some point the joint would have needed to expand their market. Thai food places are gaining popularity. It was the first commercial project I drew up and bid. They used my drawing but not my bid. The bar has struggled through several owners to stay open since they closed down the local Catholic Church.

Does anything in their web site catalog come close to what you need?

My search also showed some Triboro stuff at Surplus Sales of NE, so if you're looking for a excuse to drive to Omaha...
That's an interesting cause-effect. We have one Catholic Church in town and two bars. I don't see anyone head from Mass straight to the bars.
I agree on both.
